As a Western student, I have shown that I have been an example of WWU's mission statement, which is 'Active Minds, Changing Lives'. The multiple events that WWU hosts that I have attended have been very enriching and educational. I also have participated within the Ethnic Student Center that WWU supports to help increase cultural diversity awareness among campus life.
